My
role at Canal180 is to optimise the channel’s story-telling potential in highly competitive
platforms such as Instagram, as well as fulfilling other graphic design needs.
By rethinking formats, overhauling Canal180’s graphic system
and analysing user metrics and behaviour, I helped the team come up with new ways to tell
stories outside of its usual long-format purpose.
This approach increased Canal180’s organic
Instagram reach by 98% in 2023 and 50% in 2024, increasing follower count from 19k to 30k and
reaching 1 million accounts in 2024.
180 Media Academy
2024
180 Media Academy is an event by Canal180. Over a week it
hosts talks, workshops and screenings with professionals from media, communication and
audiovisual industries.
The goal was to create an identity with a somewhat sober,
academic look, but also imbued with dynamism
Communication wise, it was all about making clear value
proposals for each of the talks, letting people know the main thing they would learn by
attending each talk.
